Favorites

Favorites let you pin the apps and reports you use most so they're always one click away. Your favorites are personal — only you see them, and they appear on your Dashboard and in a dedicated Favorites view.

Adding a Favorite

You can favorite an application or a report from any of these places:

  • The detail page — open an app or a report and click the ⭐ star next to its title.
  • The applications list — on the Apps page, every card and table row has a star you can toggle.
  • The reports list — on the Reports page, every report row has a star.

A filled gold star means the item is in your favorites. An outlined gray star means it isn't.

Removing a Favorite

There are three ways to remove a favorite:

  1. Click the filled star anywhere it appears (detail page, list page, or dashboard).
  2. From the Favorites page, click the star on any card to remove it from your list.
  3. The item disappears from your favorites immediately — no confirmation prompt.

Where Favorites Show Up

Dashboard

The Dashboard has a Favorites section at the top with two groups:

  • Favorited Apps are shown as cards with their logos.
  • Favorited Reports are shown as cards underneath.

If you haven't favorited anything yet, you'll see an empty state explaining how to add favorites.

Favorites Page

The dedicated Favorites page (accessible from the navigation bar) shows everything you've favorited in a unified card grid. You can filter the list with three tabs:

Tab Shows
All Both apps and reports together
Applications Only favorited apps
Reports Only favorited reports

The selected filter is remembered across sessions, so the page opens to the view you used last.

Distinguishing Apps from Reports

When apps and reports are listed together on the Favorites page, each card has:

  • A type pill in the upper-left (APP in orange or REPORT in blue).
  • A distinct icon: apps display their own logo; reports show a generic chart icon.

This makes it easy to scan a mixed list and see at a glance what each item is.

Notes

  • Favorites are scoped to your organization. If you switch organizations, your favorites in the new org will be empty until you build them up again.
  • If an app or report you've favorited is deleted by an admin, it's automatically removed from your favorites.
  • Favorites do not affect the visibility or permissions of any item — they're purely a personal organizational tool.
